And I’d LOVE to share what that looks like with you. There are some challenges, but the rewards are nothing short of mesmerizing. The best part is helping a client get pregnant, get rid of painful periods or issues from PCOS to fibroids. And providing solutions to eliminate the number one fertility issue from so many women’s lives on a daily basis.
So What does the life of a Fertility Coach look like?
If you’ve never heard of a fertility coach before, you’re probably wondering, “What is a fertility coach?” and “What does a fertility coach do?
I know I was.
So let me tell you a little about myself and what I do as a fertility coach or fertility strategist and a glimpse of what that looks like on a day-to-day basis.
I always thought I was going to be a midwife. So when I learned about fertility coaches, I was like, “Interesting!” I knew immediately that was what I wanted to do. It fit my interests, personality, lifestyle and desires so well.
It’s a dream come true for me, especially as someone who wanted to be in birthwork since forever.
When I was a little girl my Mom asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. Even though I said ballerina, because I had no clue what she was asking of me, I chose obstetrician from this huge book of careers she had.
Then I wanted to be a midwife. Then doula. Now I’m a Fertility Coach.
I also always wanted to live close to nature, be able to work closely with other women and create my lifestyle from scratch from a young age too.
And I always wanted to travel on the road and build my own house.
I’m sure much of this is because my parents were born and raised in Jamaica. I would always hear these amazing stories of my mother’s childhood in Jamaica and how, “we children didn’t know how to have fun!” Which to me translated to mean, ‘we were too disconnected from mother earth’.
So I’ve strived to get as close to nature as possible, and I think it’s starting to pay off. LOL!
Now, I live off the grid in a somewhat mountainous region with lots of trees, natural flowers and herbs and wildlife. I just ended a 6-month road trip and I’m contemplating purchasing or building a tiny modular home on my future plot of land that I can transport if I ever want a change in scenery.
So what’s it really like being a fertility coach?
To me the best part is the freedom of being able to do what I want, when I want to do it, where I want to do it, and with who I want to do it with. I know it may sound cliche, but it’s true.
Fertility coaching has opened up so many possibilities for me and has taken my family and I from some very undesirable situations to choosing where we want to live and how we want to spend our day.
Since I am newly embarking on this path, here is what creating a day in the life as a Fertility Coach looks like for me.
So one of the main things I want to do as a fertility coach is to meet with other women wanting to increase their fertility naturally. I’ve made space to work one-on-one with about one or two women a day, sometimes three.
And I also am in the process of creating a group coaching program where I work with small groups of four to five women three times per week.
It takes time to build out each coaching package to be unique for each woman and then also build the curriculum for my group program, which I am doing simultaneously.
So that takes up about 1 – 2 hours of my day just meditating, journaling, researching, designing and building out the modules of each coaching package or course.
But bringing to live, my visions and ideas is pretty sweet!
Although, I haven’t started fully taking on mass clients, I have begun to work with some women I select (I’m in charge remember!).
The amount of time I work with women can vary depending on how many clients I want to work with or what our schedules are like. But I like the flexibility and ability to help women that need natural fertility support.
Because I’m going to be offering different fertility coaching packages, my day can look different any day of the week. So its not monotonous. Its creative and fun.
I do a lot of feminine practices, so even if some days are similar, there are always going to be some major breakthroughs and one-of-a-kind things taking place.
Once I swing the door open for my coaching services, here’s a deeper look into what that will be like.
On Sundays, I’ll typically take the day off to write blogs, create content for my social media accounts that week. I’ll also do whatever research for clients, reply to emails and also check my schedule for the week.
On Mondays I’ll do about two one-hour sessions with two of my one-on-one clients. And I also do my group coaching session session for about forty-five minutes to an hour.
On Tuesdays, typically won’t do group sessions, so I’ll do maybe three 1:1 coaching sessions. Usually two will be one-hour sessions and one will be a ninety-minute session.
On Wednesdays, Its similar. But I might just do one-ninety minute 1:1 session and one sixty-minute one-to-one session.
Then on Thursday, I’ll do another one-hour-and-a-half-session and one sixty-minute session with two other clients and do my group program for about two hours.
On Fridays I’ll try not to do any client sessions or group work because even though I plan do a lot of selfcare activities with my clients, I also need some personal one-on-one time with myself.
Typically I also won’t do anything on Saturdays, but I might pop-up in my free group or coaching group and do a livestream to show my morning or night routine, or some more coaching calls for clients not available during the weekdays.
So that’s about nine clients per week and two or three group sessions.
There’s plenty of room for new clients, but I try to really only work with clients that fit my style of work, which is lots of femininity, sexual expression and excitement.
I think women are designed to be fertile for life and that infertility is a sign for women that we need to tap back into our divine femininity, because once we lose that, fertility issues, disease or menopause will set in.
The amount of Fertility coaching I’ve done so far has been really fun, feminine, flexible and everything I would dream of in terms of having anything that looks similar to a job or career.
I get to be my own healer while, at the same time helping other women heal. I get to spend my day picking flowers and herbs and send them off to women to use as teas or yoni steams. I get to be there for all of my children and help raise and watch them grow.
And in the process, they get to watch me help and heal other people too, which I think is something that children need more in this world.
I’m very grateful that I was able to create type of childhood for my children, that I always wanted myself, and that makes us all happy.
If this excites you and you would like to be my next client and receive my introductory rates, now is the time to book your call with me, so I can create your vary own session or invite you to my group program which may be live by the time you’re reading this.
